Michigan Fitness Association is pleased to offer the MFA Health and Wellness Enhancement Grant to qualified fitness businesses. The grant is from the Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) for Michigan-based fitness businesses to promote health and wellness in their communities.
Grant applicants must meet the qualifications for membership with the MFA, but do not currently have to be a member. All grant applications must be completed by midnight EST, December 31, 2023.
The process to apply for the MFA Health and Wellness Enhancement Grant:
- All for profit fitness facilities, boutiques, and gyms in the State of Michigan can apply for the grant if they meet the MFA’s requirements for membership. View membership qualifications
- Grant Evaluations take place in the first quarter of 2024
- Grant money will be received in mid-2024 and beyond. Any business selected to receive the grant will also receive 3 years of membership to the Michigan Fitness Association.

The MFA board will review grant applications in the first quarter of 2024. Distribution of grant funds will start mid-year 2024 and continue through 2025.
